Yes, Envelope is free during the beta. You can build, publish, and share apps at no cost. We'll introduce paid plans later for power users, but there will always be a free tier.

You can paste any URL into Envelope and turn it into an installable app instantly. Envelope wraps it with a manifest, service worker, and install page so anyone can add it to their home screen. Note that modules like push notifications, AI chatbot, voice assistant, and database are only available for apps built with Envelope's AI builder.

AI-built apps include a service worker that caches the app shell, so the UI loads even without a connection. Features that need the internet (like web search or AI chatbot) will need connectivity.

Yes. Head back to the builder, make changes, and republish. Your users get the update automatically next time they open the app.

Workflows let you set up automations for your app. You connect steps together visually, like using AI to process something, then sending a notification or saving a result. You can trigger them on a schedule, from a webhook, or from inside your app.
